26.2 Here I Come!

I am signed up to run the Philadelphia Marathon on November 21st, 2010. There, I said it. I put it out there for all the world to read. Whew... that feels good!

You see, I've been a bit nervous about training for the marathon. 13.1 miles is one thing but 26.2...that scares me a bit. So I'm going to need your support and encouragement. I'll need you to tell me to get my ass out there on rainy days. Please tell me to stop whining and suck it up if I start to complain. But please DO NOT tell me I'm crazy for trying or that I just can't do it. Because I can and I will. Just watch me!

  5. I recently decided, despite saying I wasn't going to, that I'm doing a full next May, so I'm behind you 100 per cent.

I can't wait to follow your progress.

  9. You will love it! Philly is a great first marathon - well supported, really well organized and still has the feel of a "big" race without the NYC crowds. So excited for you! I've run the half for the past few years after I ran the full there and I'm about to sign up for it again because it always sells out! Good luck with your training... maybe I'll see you in the park :)
